These terms explain how appointments, cancellations, payments, rebooking, and treatment planning work at South London Foot Clinic.
Thank you for choosing South London Foot Clinic. We want every appointment to feel clear, professional, and well organised. These terms help us protect appointment time, support fair access for other patients, and explain what you can expect from the clinic.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, we may need to shorten the appointment, limit what can be covered, or rebook you. The full appointment fee may still be payable because the clinical time has been reserved for you.
We do our best to run to time. Occasionally, clinical appointments can overrun where a patient needs extra care. If this affects you, we will keep you informed as far as reasonably possible.
Please give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or move an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments affect your treatment plan and leave a reserved clinical slot that may not be possible to offer to another patient.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, arrive too late to be seen, or do not attend, we may charge a fee up to the full cost of the appointment booked. We may take account of exceptional circumstances and whether the appointment space can reasonably be filled, but short-notice changes remain chargeable at the clinic's discretion.
If the clinic needs to cancel or move your appointment, you will not be charged for that appointment and we will offer to rebook at the earliest suitable time.
We provide clinical assessment, treatment, and advice with reasonable care and skill. Your clinician will explain the findings, options, likely next steps, and any relevant risks as clearly as possible.
Clinical outcomes vary from patient to patient. Recovery can depend on your condition, medical history, footwear, activity levels, home care, and how your body responds to treatment. For that reason, we cannot guarantee a specific result, symptom improvement, or recovery timeframe.
Fees are payable for the appointment, clinical time, assessment, advice, and treatment provided, not for a guaranteed outcome.
If something about your appointment has not felt right, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so the clinic director can review your concern. We will listen carefully and respond in a fair and practical way.
Where we agree that the service fell below the standard expected, we will offer an appropriate remedy in line with your statutory rights and the circumstances of the appointment. This may include further explanation, clinical review, or repeat care where clinically suitable. It does not automatically entitle you to a refund, free treatment, or a particular remedy. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
Private appointment fees are payable at the time of the appointment unless the clinic has agreed otherwise in advance. Invoices are not routinely issued for private patients.
Where products, dressings, orthotics, procedures, or follow-up treatment are recommended, these may involve additional fees. Your clinician or the clinic team will explain relevant costs before proceeding where reasonably possible.
Any unpaid balance remains due to the clinic and may need to be settled before further appointments are booked.
Where clinically appropriate, we may recommend booking a course or sequence of future appointments once your treatment plan has been discussed. This helps you secure suitable appointment times and supports treatment progress.
Booked appointments remain subject to the cancellation and missed appointment terms above. Block bookings do not guarantee a particular clinical outcome.
Many of our patients come to the clinic through personal recommendation. We are grateful for referrals from existing patients and appreciate your support.
