What is the difference between a chiropodist and a podiatrist? Technically there is no difference. It is just that historically the profession who had a diploma in disorders of the foot was called a chiropodist.
As the profession progressed, education was extended to include training to degree level. We then started calling ourselves podiatrists.
Most people are unaware of the different treatments we are qualified to provide.
- Fungal infections, Callus Build up, Ingrowing Toe Nails, Verruca, Corn Removal
- Foot pain
- Bone injury
- Fractures and Sprains
- Tendon / Ligament problems
- Bunions
- Heel pain
- overuse injuries and running injuries
Here at south London foot clinic we are happy to help as many people as possible who are experiencing foot pain, or problems and get them back to being pain free and into the activities they enjoy doing.
We look forward to welcoming you to the clinic, any problem big or small please feel free to give us a call
